It seems as though Blac Chyna isn’t going to stop until Rob Kardashian goes “DOWN” for exposing her naked pictures on social media.
Initially we didn’t report on this story because we know about the state of California’s law on “revenge porn,” and we’re opposed to reposting another woman’s naked photos period [even if we did have permission].
According to California State Law:
“Revenge porn is now a crime under California Penal Code 647(j) (4) PC2. Revenge porn is similar to but distinct from the related crime “invasion of privacy.” The legal definition of revenge porn/nonconsensual pornography is as follows: (1) You have an image of the intimate body part of another identifiable person, or an image of that person engaged in sexual intercourse, sodomy, oral copulation or masturbation. (2) You intentionally distribute that image; (3) There was an understanding between you and that person that the image would remain private; (4) You know or should know that the distribution of the image will cause the person serious emotional distress; and (5) The person depicted suffers serious emotional distress.”
Penalties under California State Law include:
- Misdemeanor (summary) probation;
- Up to six months in county jail; and/or
- A fine of up to one thousand dollars
This morning, Blac Chyna and her attorney Lisa Bloom sat down with Linsey Davis [of Good Morning America] to talk about ‘revenge porn’ and her feelings on Rob Kardashian + her restraining order.
According to Blac Chyna:
“I was devastated, of course. I’m like, how could somebody, like, post these pictures of me? And I’m like ‘Wow, okay.’ This is a person that I trusted. I confided. I felt comfortable, you know, with even sending these pictures and even talking to him about certain things, you know. I just felt betrayed.”
Her attorney, Lisa Bloom chimed in stating:
“Chyna and I both believe that this is an important women’s rights issue, as too many women and girls have been slut-shamed by exes. It stops now. Your attempts to shame and control her are hereby rejected. Her body, her choice. Her life, her choice. Back off!”
This ENTIRE story is horrible. But Blac Chyna being an advocate for “victims of cyber bullying?” IDK about that……
